Ryanair has added an extra step to the check-in process where you need to identify yourself. To go through this process, follow the instructions in the email from Ryanair. You need to fill in the following details:

- Reservation number: This can be found on the ticket email.

- The unique email address generated for your booking: This can also be found on the ticket email.

After that, you can choose between Express Verification or Standard Verification. For both methods, you need an identity document and a device with a camera.

Express Verification uses facial recognition technology to verify your identity. It takes about 2 minutes and incurs a small administration fee of €0.59.

Standard Verification uses your signature to verify your identity. It can take up to 7 days and there are no fees associated with it.

Once your identity is verified, you will have access to your booking. Please note that if you do not choose either of these options, you can still verify your identity at the Ryanair ticket desk before departure. However, additional check-in fees apply and you will not be able to manage your booking until your holiday.
